Rumors about the expansion started earlier this month, but to this day it has not been clear if it will happen. News site Wowhead reported earlier this month that the next expansion might be called Dragonflight based on information allegedly leaked.
In addition, to annoy the game developers a bit more, a company at Wowhead checked and found items that could be used in the upcoming expansion, such as the option to ride a green dragon or emerald. The latest expansion, Shadowlands, was launched in November 2020 to pretty good reviews. However, fans of the series who played extensively complained that after a short time there is nothing more to do in the game, and the players themselves move on to the next game, whether it is Amazon’s Lost Ark or New Worlds.
The latest announcement and the upcoming exposure broadcast, is the latest in a series of new announcements and revelations from the development and distributor studio responsible for it.
