A Novel Born From Confinement

Méril, a teacher by profession, found her passion for writing ignited during the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns. “It was the COVID period and the various confinements that were the click for the author,” the publisher noted. Writing became an essential outlet, allowing Méril to channel her creativity and explore complex themes.

The author’s long-held belief – that a love of stories naturally leads to a desire to create them – ultimately propelled her to publish her work. “The logical rest is that when you love stories, well, you necessarily want to write your own stories,” she explained.
