But the sad truth is that, despite a multitude of possibilities, the general willingness to donate is declining across the country – with dramatic consequences: Blood supplies are running out and only last a few days. However, a week would be ideal so that the supply is guaranteed in an emergency, according to the DRK.
In order to counteract this bottleneck, blood can be donated again in Demmin, on Thursday, May 25 between 2 p.m. and 6.30 p.m. in the school at the Tannen, Saarstraße 23. In order to avoid waiting times, the DRK asks you to reserve a desired date in advance.
