Bloomberg: Apple will release new iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Mac within a year

Apple from the fall of this year to mid-2023 will release new devices in each of the segments where the brand is present. This is reported by Bloomberg in the Power On mailing list.

According to Mark Gurman, editor of the publication, the American company is preparing four new iPhones. Smartphones of the Pro family will receive a new chip, improved cameras and a redesigned screen with smaller bezels and a redesigned notch. The mini model will move from a 5.4-inch screen to a 6.7-inch one, but otherwise the base smartphones will not change. It is expected that from 2023 all iPhones will switch to a USB-C connector, abandoning the proprietary Lightning.

The 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro tablets with the new M2 chip are being prepared for the premiere, and the debut of the flagship tablet with a screen of 14-15 inches is planned for the next two years. In addition to the iPad, the M2 chips will appear on the Mac mini, Pro Mac mini, MacBook Pro, and Mac Pro, as well as the new MacBook Air.

The new Apple Watch Series 8 will also enter the market, the line of which will be expanded to three models: the budget SE, the basic Series 8, and a new watch in a rugged case will remain.

Other highlights include the upcoming mixed reality headset, Apple TV, HomePod and the next generation of AirPods Pro.

Recall that on June 6, as part of the annual Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple introduced the new proprietary M2 processor and the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro laptops created on its basis.
