Bloomberg has published its traditional annual ranking of the 25 richest families in the world, whose combined wealth this year has grown to $ 1.7 trillion.
The Walton family topped the rating, which owns 48% of the shares of the world’s largest wholesale and retail chain Walmart, founded by Sam Walton in 1962. The combined fortune of the Bloomberg family is estimated at $ 238.2 billion. The Mars family, the owners of the American company Mars , which is engaged in the production of food and confectionery products, with a fortune of almost $ 142 billion.
The third place was taken by the Koh family, which manages the industrial corporation Koch Industries, with a fortune of 124.4 billion. The top five included Erme, the owners of the Hermes fashion house ($ 111.6 billion) and the ruling dynasty of Saudi Arabia Al-Saud (about $ 100 billion).
