Blue Economy: The head of government calls for preparation of the next meeting of the interministerial commission
Rabat – The head of government, Aziz Akhannouch, called on Thursday the Ministry of Economy and Finance to prepare the next meeting of the Interministerial Commission for the development of the blue economy, given the importance that the government attaches to the implementation of the related program.
Mr. Akhannouch, who chaired the meeting of the government council, indicated this program which is structured around three main axes namely the development of governance, the strengthening of resilience, integrated planning and project management, benefiting from financial support of 350 million dollars from the World Bank, indicated the Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament, government spokesperson, Mustapha Baitas, during a press briefing at the end of the Council.
Furthermore, the government council decided to postpone until a later meeting the examination of draft decree No. 2.23.1118 amending and supplementing decree No. 2.06.574 implementing the Value Added Tax (VAT), provided for in Chapter III of the General Tax Code (CGI), Mr. Baitas said.
