Okamoto and Offence Lead the Charge

Further down the standings, the Texas Rangers dropped to 70-73 following a 6-3, 10-inning loss to the Tampa Bay Rays, leaving Texas trailing the wild-card pace by two games. The Baltimore Orioles sit closely behind at 69-74 following a five-game losing streak, remaining three games back of the final postseason position with Texas and Toronto positioned between them.
