Bangladesh Merchant Bankers Association (BMBA) has provided cash assistance to the Interim Government’s Chief Adviser’s Relief and Welfare Fund to provide assistance to flood-affected people.

BMBA’s Assistance to Chief Adviser’s Relief Fund

Adviser Farooq-e-Azam on behalf of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief received a cash assistance check of Tk 10 lakh from the representatives of BMBA on Sunday (September 8).

This information was given in a press release sent by BMBA.

President Majeda Khatun, Secretary General Muhammad Nazrul Islam, FCMA and Treasurer Muhammad Abdur Rahim, FCA were present on behalf of Bangladesh Merchant Bankers Association.

Millions of people have been affected in Feni, Chittagong, Comilla, Noakhali, Lakshmipur, Chandpur, Brahmanbaria, Sylhet and other districts of the country due to the terrible floods of the present time. The health of these affected people, post-flood rehabilitation is very important.
