The police and administration need to take more strict steps to curb the smuggling of liquor in the state. The police are constantly conducting raids, even after that, consignments of liquor are arriving daily via Bhagalpur station. Not only this, incidents of alcoholism have increased in the rural areas of Bhagalpur. The villagers say that the smugglers are selling liquor in connivance with the police.
