Luxury car makers like Benz, Jaguar and Audi have already launched their electric cars in India. BMW, another luxury car maker parallel to those companies, has yet to launch its electric car in India.

All electric BMW iX India launch on December 11

BMW has produced two types of electric cars, the iX xDrive 40 and the iX xDrive 50. The iX xDrive 40 is powered by a car with 326 horsepower. The car can accelerate from zero to 100 km / h in 6.1 seconds. This type of car can cover a distance of 414 km on a single charge.

Similarly, BMW’s iX xDrive 50 type car is capable of running with 523 horsepower. The car can accelerate from zero to 100 km / h in 4.6 seconds. This type of car can travel up to 611 km on a single charge.

Both cars have a dual electric motor setup. Both cars are powered by a lithium ion battery. Details about the price of these cars are expected to be released soon. BMW plans to launch 3 electric cars in India in the next 6 months.
