BMW with 800 kg of drugs is seized after driver stops for a smoke

The Federal Police seized a BMW with about 800 kg of marijuana in a cornfield near Dourados (MS). The case occurred on the afternoon of this Friday (2).

What happened:

During routine inspection, federal police saw a luxury vehicle at high speed. When checking the license plate, they realized that it belonged to another car, this one with a record of theft.

After the BMW entered a dirt road, the PF agents began to follow it. The car was found in the middle of a cornfield.

The driver, whose identity has not been revealed, was arrested at the scene for drug trafficking. — at the time of the arrest, he was smoking marijuana next to the vehicle.

The PF did not say where the seized cargo was taken.
