The Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) is putting into circulation from today a silver commemorative coin on the theme “200 years since the publication of the Fishery Primer” from the “Bulgarian Revival” series, the central bank reported, BTA reported.
The price of the coin when put into circulation is BGN 150. Its face value is BGN 10, and the circulation is 4,000.
On the face of the coin are depicted – in the center – the emblem of the BNB with the year 1879 on the band, below it the year of issue – 2024, and the nominal value of BGN 10, and around the top there is the inscription “Bulgarian National Bank”.
On the back of the coin are depicted – on the left – an open book with elements from the cover of the first edition of the “Fish Primer” and an illustration of a whale, and around the right side the inscription “200 years since the publication of the Fish Primer”.
The coin will be sold at the BNB at two cash desks in Sofia at 1 Knyaz Alexander I Square and at four cash desks at the Cash Center of the BNB in Sofia, 10 Mikhail Tenev Street.
The BNB clarifies that each customer will be able to buy only one coin from their cash registers, regardless of whether he buys it in his own name and at his own expense or in the name and at the expense of another person. To purchase a coin in the name and at the expense of another person, it is necessary to present a notarized express power of attorney for the specific commemorative coin. If a customer, in his capacity as a natural person, buys a coin from the BNB cash registers, he is not entitled to buy another coin as a representative of a legal entity, and this restriction also applies to the opposite case. It is also recalled that coins are not sold to persons who have not reached the age of 18.
By the end of the working day today, the new coin will be provided by the BNB to “Investbank” AD, “First Investment Bank” AD, “Teksim Bank” AD, “Tokuda Bank” AD and “Central Cooperative Bank” AD for sale in their offices and branches.
