The starting salary is R$ 20.9 thousand, plus benefits. Applications can be made from Friday (26), at 10 AM, until 11:59 PM on August 19, on the website of the organizing committee of the competition, the Cesgranrio Foundation. The application fee is R$ 110. Those exempt from the fee are registered in the Unified Registry of the Federal Government’s Social Programs and bone marrow donors.

The last competition of the institution took place 12 years ago.

Positions

The vacancies for the analyst position will be in the following areas: administration, systems analysis/cybersecurity, systems analysis/development, systems analysis/support, architecture/urbanism, digital archiving, accounting sciences, social communication, law, economics, engineering, and organizational psychology. The candidate needs to have specific training.

For the data science area, the candidate may have a higher education degree in any field.

For professionals in the areas of administration, accounting sciences, law, economics, engineering, and organizational psychology, registration in the respective council or professional order is also required.

The vacancies offered are intended for the BNDES headquarters, located in Rio de Janeiro. However, according to the service needs and the interest of the bank’s management, the approved candidates may be assigned to the bank’s units in Brasília, São Paulo, or Recife.

The approved candidates must be available to travel on duty throughout the country or abroad.

Vacancies

The bank has reserved 30% of the vacancies for black people and 15% for people with disabilities (PwD). BNDES states that the minimum percentage was increased from 5% to 15% (10% more than the legal minimum), following negotiations and the celebration of an Adjustment Term with the Federal Public Ministry.

“The reservation of vacancies for black people which seeks to correct this distortion is in line with the institutional objectives of BNDES to promote diverse and inclusive development,” says the BNDES note.

In the 2012 selection, the law that establishes racial quotas in competitions was not yet in effect, as the legislation dates from 2014. According to the bank, in the current staff frame, about 14.6% of employees declare themselves black, with 12.9% mixed-race and 1.7% black.

After the final results are validated, candidates who self-declared as black during registration and are approved “will be called in a specific notice for in-person verification of the veracity of the self-declaration made, on a date, place, and time established by the Cesgranrio Foundation, for the complementary hetero-identification procedure to the self-declaration of black individuals,” the notice informs.

Those who applied for vacancies for people with disabilities (PwD) will need to submit a certificate, report, or documentation, as detailed in the public selection notice.

Exams

For the first time, the exams will be administered in all 27 state capitals. The selection process is scheduled for October 13 (Sunday).

The candidate must choose the city where they wish to take the exam and the position and area for which they will compete at the time of registration.

According to BNDES, the objective test will be held in the morning, lasting four hours. The written test will take place in the afternoon, also lasting four hours.

Remuneration

The starting salary set out in the bank’s new job and salary plan is R$ 20.9 thousand. The workweek is 35 hours.

In addition to the rights provided by law, the approved candidates will have the following benefits: the possibility of career advancement according to the job and salary plan in effect at the time of hiring and based on employee performance; health assistance; educational assistance (childcare assistance and elementary and high school education); and a complementary pension plan, as well as advantages established by specific complementary norms that are in effect at the time of hiring.

At the opening of the States of the Future meeting, at the bank’s headquarters, the president of BNDES, Aloizio Mercadante, highlighted the importance of the competition and that new professionals will be required, “because we are the institution that transfers the most resources to the National Treasury.”
