Title: Young Habarach Stabbed in Bnei Brak Recounts Terrifying Ordeal, Police Fear More Attacks

Bnei Brak, Israel – In a shocking incident that unfolded earlier today, a young man known as H. was stabbed in an unprovoked attack. Recounting the horrifying incident, H. revealed his immediate reaction upon realizing he had been stabbed.

“The danger came to me, I had no prior acquaintance or anything, I thought he was coming to beat me, Box,” H. said. “He gave me one blow and ran away.” The 29-year-old victim was quickly transported to the hospital, where he received treatment for his wounds described as light.

During an interview with Meir Marciano of News 13, H. further revealed, “After he ran away, I realized that I had been stabbed in the hand. I shouted to the people near me, ‘stab me, stab me,’ and immediately called the police. There were rescue forces in the area who promptly took care of me and transported me to safety.”

Speaking to Sivan Rahab Meir on the night news, H. described the suddenness of the attack. “I went in the direction of my home, I went downstairs, suddenly, literally a meter in front of me, I didn’t see him coming before – someone appeared in front of me, stabbed me. I asked him: ‘What are you doing? What do you want from me?’ And he didn’t answer me. I saw that I was bleeding all over.”

Interestingly, H. also mentioned that the attacker seemed like a young boy to him, and he was unsure of his background. H. believed the assailant had mistaken him for someone else. He went on to describe how he instinctively raised his hand to protect himself when the attacker attempted to aim for his heart. Fortunately, H. was released to his home later that evening.

The motive behind the attack appears to be retaliation for the events in Jenin. In response, the police have located and deported 20 residents of Jenin who were staying in Israel, amid fears of potential terrorist attacks. Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai expressed concern about the possibility of further attacks in the coming days, particularly targeting major city centers or vehicles traveling in the territories.

Adding to the challenge, large police forces that were supposed to address issues related to the Palestinian Authority are currently occupied with demonstrations against the legal revolution. Furthermore, two major operations in the Arab sector aimed at identifying and apprehending criminals had to be postponed due to insufficient forces.

The assailant responsible for the stabbing was identified as a 16-year-old boy residing in Jenin. A quick response from a motorcycle patrol team led to his capture. Meanwhile, the injured victim was taken to the “Eyes of Salvation” hospital in the city, where he received treatment for minor stab wounds to his hand. The suspect’s father and brother were also apprehended for questioning.

In a media briefing, Police Commissioner Yaakov Shabtai described the incident as a terrorist attack. “A terrorist arrived in Bnei Brak and stabbed a civilian in a medium-light manner,” he stated. “He fled, and in a short time, police captured the suspect, who claims he carried out the attack following the events in Jenin.”

The authorities continue to investigate the incident, while remaining vigilant for potential future attacks.
