David Atar has accompanied Eliran on the pitches throughout his career and in recent years due to illness he has been prevented from attending games. About three months ago, the father came to Bnei Yehuda’s game against Hapoel Afula in Bloomfield and watched his son score a double, when after the second goal we saw an exciting picture when Eliran ran to his father who arrived sitting in a wheelchair and used an oxygen mask and hugged him tightly. The date of David Atar’s funeral has not yet been determined and will be announced later.
