BNP has struggled for the last 15 years: Mirza Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir commented that BNP has been struggling for 15 years for the new independence that Bangladesh has achieved in 2024.

He said, during this time more than 700 of our leaders and workers have gone missing. Two thousand activists were shot dead. False cases have been filed against more than 60 lakh activists.

He said these things after paying tribute at the grave of founder Ziaur Rahman on the occasion of the party’s 46th founding anniversary on Sunday (September 1).

He said, we are thanking Allah for today. I am able to celebrate this day in a free and independent environment with the students.

BNP Secretary General said that the nationalist party has always led in Bangladesh. We hope, in the coming days, he will move forward correctly with his right politics and people. Will focus on rebuilding the country.

“Today we have taken an oath that no matter what obstacles come, we will face all challenges and work to establish democracy and free market economy in Bangladesh” added Mirza Fakhrul.

BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas, Nazrul Islam Khan, BNP central leader Abdus Salam, Saiful Alam Nirav and others were also present.
