Today (August 15) BNP is holding a sit-in program across the country to demand justice for the massacre and the misdeeds of the Awami League government by firing on the student crowd. The team is taking positions across the country as part of the 3-day program.
Earlier, BNP announced a three-day program from August 14 to August 16. The programs include standing in front of the party office and offering prayers and milad mahfils for the victims of the recent agitation.
Various steps have been taken to make the program successful by youth, volunteers, farmers, students and BNP’s affiliated organizations. So that no one can create an unstable situation, the activists will take a position in the neighborhoods.
Regarding the program of BNP, Central Publicity Secretary Sultan Salahuddin Tuku said that today the stay program will be held in every district, upazila and wards in Dhaka. In the afternoon, a sit-in program will be held in front of the central office of BNP in Nayapaltan of the capital.
Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP Member Secretary Aminul Haque said that the ghosts of the autocratic Sheikh Hasina government are now present in different neighborhoods in different areas and they are doing the trick. Everyone should be alert and vigilant against this device of theirs. We will hold a peaceful march in the light of the central program in every ward of Dhaka city. The leaders and activists will take position at the intersection of each ward. So that Awami terrorist can’t raise his head again. Dictator has no place in Bangladesh.
