BNP has supported the complete shutdown program of the quota reform activists on Thursday (July 18).
BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said this on Wednesday (July 17) night.
He said that BNP has full support for the quota reform movement. He urged the people of the country to come forward to fulfill this program.
A ‘complete shutdown’ was announced across the country on Thursday (July 18) to protest the attack on quota reform activists.
The announcement was made through a post on the anti-discrimination student movement’s Facebook page at 7:55 pm on Wednesday.
It is said in the post, the brutal attack by police, BGB, RAB, SWAT on the quota reform activists, protesting the murder, trial of the murderers, ensuring a terror-free campus and announcing a ‘complete shutdown’ on July 18 across the country.
“Not only hospitals and emergency services will not open the doors of any institution, no car will run on the road without an ambulance. Calling every school, college, university, private university, madrasa students across the country, make tomorrow’s program a success’, the post said.
The post also said, ‘To our parents, we are your children. Stand by us, protect us. This fight is not only for students, but for the vast masses of this country, regardless of party affiliation.’
