The BNP has announced a two-day program to honor the memory of those who died in the International Democracy Day and the student uprising and the mass movement against the dictatorship of the past 17 years.
On Wednesday (September 11) the program was announced by BNP Standing Committee member Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain.
Before this, a joint meeting of the party was held. The presidents and general secretaries of BNP organs and affiliated organizations were present in it.
Zahid Hossain said that those who were killed in the uprising of the students and those who were killed in the mass movement against the dictatorship in the last 17 years, a memorial meeting will be held at the central Shaheed Minar on September 14 on the initiative of BNP to pay respect to their memory. The meeting will be held from 3 pm to 5 pm. A rally will be held on the initiative of BNP on the occasion of International Democracy Day on September 15. The venue for this rally is yet to be decided. However, he also said that this rally will be organized in either of these two places – Nayapaltan or Suhrawardy Udyan.
Apart from this, on the occasion of Democracy Day on September 15, the ‘Democracy Rally’ will be held at the divisional level. Zahid.
