The Luxembourger is leaving AG2R-Citrën after two seasons with the French team.

Transfer season is in full swing in the world of cycling. After some great maneuvers from Ineos Grenadiers in recent days, it is the turn of Bora-Hansgrohe to achieve a nice coup. The German team has just formalized this Tuesday the arrival of the Luxembourger Bob Jungels who will run under his new colors next season.

“I am very excited to ride for BORA-Hansgrohe from next season. I think it’s the best team for me to get back to consistent performance on the WorldTour. I look forward to playing a big role in team wins for the seasons to come. I’m sure I can still grow as a rider and I’m ready to work hard for that. This change makes me feel like it’s the start of something big.”said Bob Jungels in the press release published by the German formation.

Jungels is an excellent rider, capable of great exploits on the WorldTour, as proven by his recent victory in Châtel, alone, on the 9th stage of the Tour de France 2022. Nevertheless, the Luxembourger must find a constant level of performance after having been hampered by numerous injuries.
