The Xeneize delegation had left this noon for the Rio de Janeiro airport and after 2 p.m. it had taken off for Buenos Aires.

Hundreds of fans welcome them with t-shirts and flags. Also with songs of encouragement to the team and some against River.

The bus with the Boca squad will go to the club’s property in Ezeiza, about 15 minutes from the airport, and there the players will get into their cars to go home. On Monday they will resume training.

When does Boca play again?

The next game for the team led by Jorge Almirón will be on Wednesday, from 7 p.m., against San Lorenzo at the Nuevo Gasómetro for matchday 12 of the League Cup.

Boca is obliged to win if it wants to maintain its chances of advancing to the quarterfinals of the tournament and, above all, to ensure its classification to the next Copa Libertadores through the annual table.
