“It’s a great game. And yes, why not beat BVB when you’re that far?” said VfL’s central defender in an interview with Sky TV. About the relationship with brother Nico, he said: “Of course you try to goad yourself a bit so that you get the most out of yourself.”

“You have to beat VfL Bochum in front of your home crowd first. The way, the intensity, the mentality that we bring to the pitch at home is very good.
