A 54-year-old policeman from Boeotia stabbed his ex-partner. The woman is being treated at Livadia Hospital out of danger.
According to ERT, the incident happened outside the Paralia Distomo Police Station, where the woman went to sue her ex-partner.
The 54-year-old had previously breached the restraining order by going to the woman’s workplace and demanding they find them again. When she asked him to leave, he refused, so the woman decided to go to the Police Department to report him.
When she arrived, the 54-year-old was waiting for her there, abused her and attacked her with a knife, injuring her in various parts of her body. His colleagues intervened, immobilizing him and handcuffing him.
The police officer was placed on suspension and an EDE has been ordered against him.
The public prosecutor of Livadeia prosecuted for violating the law on weapons, causing bodily harm, insulting and violating a court order.
