Registration is open for the Bogotá Short Film Festival – BOGOSHORTS. movies from up to 30 minutes of duration can be submitted for selection, as long as they have no public exhibition in Colombia, are not published on the internet (except clips) and have been made after January 1, 2022. Application deadline is August 6th. from the site.
As part of the event, the International Competition will welcome filmmakers from around the world and will award prizes in the Fiction, Documentary, Animation, Experimental and Music Video categories, offering the chance to win the Saint Lucia prize.
In addition, candidates will also be able to register for two other competitions. The first is the F3 Competition – Fanatic Freak Fantastic, which is intended for short films in horror, science fiction, fantasy and other related genres. The second is the VR competition, which seeks short films in virtual reality format. The twenty-first edition of the event will take place from December 5th to 12th in the city of Bogotá, Colombia.
