The boiler house in Smuravyovo, Gdovskiy district, is working normally again, and the houses in the village are provided with heat. The official telegram channel of the Pskov region writes about this with reference to the head of the region, Yuri Pavlov.
Let us remind you that when severe frosts came to the region, a heating main broke through in the village. The leak could not be detected immediately. To ensure the usual heat supply, a large amount of firewood had to be burned.
By the New Year holidays, the administration of the Gdovskiy district plans to replenish stocks with at least 500 cubic meters of firewood.
According to Yuri Pavlov, such unplanned spending significantly hits the municipal budget. Non-payers also play a role – residents receive heat in their apartments, but do not pay for housing and communal services.
