jpnn.comBANDUNG – Persib Bandung coach Bojan Hodak admitted that he has pocketed the first 11 players who will be fielded in the 2024/2025 Liga 1 season.
Hodak will refine the starter’s image when Maung Bandung plays against Persis Solo in the third match of the 2024 President’s Cup at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Soreang, Bandung Regency, Thursday (25/7/2024).
Hodak said that in this decisive match, he could not field a number of his mainstay players due to injuries.
This made Hodak give opportunities to other performers.
“We still have to see who will play from today’s training agenda because there are players who were hit and injured in the previous match,” said Hodak in a conference at Graha Persib, Jalan Sulanjana, Bandung City, Wednesday (24/7/2024).
As previously stated, Hodak is not targeting to win in this pre-season tournament. Therefore, he is using this event as preparation for League 1 which starts in early August.
According to him, up until the second match yesterday, he already had a little idea about this season’s squad, including the first 11 players who would be fielded in the first League 1 match against PSBS Biak.
“I already have an idea of the starting 11 for the league, but there are always situations, like Nick (Kuipers) can’t play because he received two yellow cards, Marc (Klok) also has a little pain in his muscle,” Hodak explained.
