Lokesh Kanagaraj, who grabbed attention with ‘Managaram’, directed ‘Kaithi’ as his second film. This film, which starred Karthi, Naren, Arjun Das, Harish Uthman and others, was released on the occasion of Diwali last year 2019. Made on a budget of Rs 25 crore, the film grossed over Rs 100 crore and took Lokesh Kanagaraj to the next level. The dynamic music by Sam CS, quality cinematography by Sathyan Suryan and cinematography by Philom Raj ushered in a new chapter in Tamil cinema.
