The humorist and current deputy of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) for Santo Domingo Este, Bolivar Valeraassured that he will not go to internal elections as a candidate for mayor of that municipality and that the politician Luis Alberto Tejeda will be the only candidate for public office.
“El Boli”, as the announcer is also known, explained that although in the polls carried out by the PLD and by the government party “I have done very well”, he cannot “swim against the current”, he also considers the internal elections as “exhausting ”.
“This is not to swim against the current, I cannot go against a decision that my party makes. From the beginning, I have always said that I do what Danilo says and that is what I am going to do”, said Valera.
Likewise, the host of “El Mañanero” also stated that he is not interested in repeating for a seat in congress.
“I do not intend to repeat as a deputy, I understand that in the municipal area that is where I have been trained, in which during these years I have been studying about the City, the state in the community involved is the area that interests me develop myself,” he added.
