Mumbai: Veteran Bollywood actor and screenwriter Shiv Kumar Subramaniam has passed away. She has had notable roles in films such as Two States, Hickey, and Tu Hai Mera Sunday. Meenakshi Sundareswara’s last film was released last year. He has also scripted films like Parintha, 1942 Love Story, Israt Ki Subha Nahi and Chameli. His son Jehan died of a brain tumor two months ago.
Shiv Subramaniam made his film debut as a screenwriter in 1989’s Paruntha. Directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the film stars Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor. Madhuri Dixit, Nanapathekar and many others starred in the film. Bollywood mourns the death of the star. The cause of death is not yet clear.
