Russian skier Alexander Bolshunov, after winning the mass start, entered the awards ceremony in golden shoes.
On Saturday, in the final men’s race of the Olympic Games in Beijing, Bolshunov won the third gold medal at the Games, setting a new record for the number of awards won among representatives of this sport.
After the finish, the Russian changed into a specially prepared pair of gold-colored shoes, in which he went to the flower awards.
25-year-old Bolshunov in Beijing 2022 won three gold, silver and bronze medals in the five races in which he took part, becoming the owner of the unofficial title of “King of Skis” at these Games.
