New attack on the press by Jair Bolsonaro, which he ordered to “shut your mouth” to a journalist asking him why had gone without a mask in Guarantinguetá, in the state of Sao Paulo. “I go where I want and how I want, shut your mouth”, replied the president who was previously fined by the authorities of the state of Sao Paulo for not wearing the mask.
But Bolsonaro’s wrath did not stop there, and began to lash out against the Globo header which is headed by the Vanguardia TV for which the journalist who asked the question works, defining it “shit print“.

The Brazilian Press Association also has condemned this new attack by a president who because of his “intemperance” is not in a position to govern. Emphasizing that Bolsonaro does not appreciate the “free and critical press”, he then reiterated the alarm for the authoritarian positions taken by far-right president, including the attempt to “discredit the electoral system” a year and a half after the election.
