Bolt is launching Bolt Business in Azerbaijan, a service designed to make it easier for businesses and their employees to travel via the Bolt app.

Bolt Business offers competitive pricing solutions that help companies avoid the unpredictable costs associated with booking one-off business trips or purchasing corporate vehicles. With Bolt business, companies and enterprises can reduce their employees’ travel expenses and save their valuable time. The simple payment method via invoicing eliminates the need to fill out expense reports manually.

Bolt Business offers a variety of transportation solutions for business travel. Employees can choose the most efficient mode of transportation for their route. For example, micromobility, such as an electric scooter, can be used to cover short distances or save time during rush hour when roads are heavily congested. By choosing a ride-hailing service, employees can select and use the vehicle category that best suits their needs.

  • Bolt Business integrates business travel booking and payment systems, offering company-linked accounts and profiles for their employees in the app, with access to exclusive corporate benefits.
  • Business accounts give business leaders complete control over their employees’ work travel. Companies can set spending limits and travel conditions, paying for travel with invoices.

Such solutions are well suited, for example, for companies with large sales departments or consultants who conduct many external meetings.

The Ride Booker feature allows businesses to book and schedule rides for employees, partners, and even guests who are not part of their Bolt Business account.

“With the launch of Bolt Business in Azerbaijan, we aim to make it easier for companies and their employees to plan business trips through Bolt apps. Bolt Business is available in over 40 markets and can reduce companies’ travel costs by up to 25%, as well as save employees’ precious time spent on processing paper receipts and expenses,” says Emin Bayramli, Business Development Specialist at Bolt in Azerbaijan.

Bolt is a multi-application, the main goal of which is to make city travel more accessible, safe and environmentally friendly. More than 150 million people in 45 countries in Europe and Africa (more than 500 cities) use Bolt services. The multi-application provides a range of services, such as calling cars, car sharing, renting electric scooters and electric bicycles, as well as delivering food and groceries. Today, the company cooperates with over 3.5 million drivers and couriers around the world.

Currently, the Bolt ride-hailing service operates in twelve cities of Azerbaijan: Baku, Ganja, Mingachevir, Gabala, Shamkir, Sumgait, Shaki, Shirvan, Yevlakh, Guba, Lankaran, Nakhchivan.
