BOLZANO. In terms of safety of the town, the activities of the Operational Unit of the Municipal Police of Bolzano are daily, in particular in terms of combating the illegal occupation of public spaces and drug dealing.
In recent days, during a check at a bar adjacent to Piazza Walther, a knife was seized from a 36-year-old Algerian citizen, who was reported for carrying objects capable of causing offence. A thorough check was also carried out on some campers parked illegally at the parking lot on Via Maso della Pieve.
Four people were identified who took care of restoring the state of the places; the situation in the area will be kept under control to avoid improper use of public land.
Two electric bicycles (worth several thousand euros) were also seized, stolen and subsequently reported to a Moroccan citizen born in 1981. The bicycles will be returned to their rightful owners.
