BOLZANO. After the four who took up service at the Passport Office last June, two other employees of the autonomous province of Bolzano will soon be seconded to the Bolzano Police Headquarters: one more at the Passport Office – where, thanks to the support of the Province staff, the times for issuing the coveted document have already been significantly reduced -, the other will instead deal with the procedures for issuing a gun license for hunting purposes.
The two employees who, with the approval of their superior, gave their availability to serve at the Police Headquarters were employed in the Departments of the Assessors Daniel Alfreider e Luis Walcher.
And the Councilor for Agriculture, Forestry and Tourism Luis Walcher comments with satisfaction on the news: “The practice of hunting is very important to control the populations of certain animal species that would otherwise cause damage to the natural regeneration of forests and also to agricultural crops. And I am happy that an employee of my Department has made himself available to carry out this important task”, says Councilor Walcher, who takes the opportunity to underline the importance of the contribution of the Councilor for Personnel, Magdalena Amhofand the Councillor for Security and Prevention of Violence, UIli Mairwho ensured contact with the police commissioner of Bolzano, Paul Sartori.
