The Palace of Versailles is being evacuated this Saturday afternoon after a bomb threat, AFP learned from police sources. The alert came via an anonymous message on the site moncommissariat.fr, a source close to the matter told AFP.
This same source indicated that the monument would not reopen today. The Louvre Museum in Paris is also closed today while France is currently on “attack emergency” alert following the terrorist attack in a high school in Arras, which cost the life of a teacher.
