The Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) sent a new questionnaire to the accommodation providers, investigating delayed payments by Booking.com, the tourism magazine Spabook learned. The current questionnaire tries to assess the current situation, that is, they try to track how many accommodations are still waiting for their money from the Dutch service provider.
booking.com has officially informed the Hungarian Tourist Agency (MTÜ) that after August 15th it will pay its outstanding debts to all relevant service providers
– can be read in the MTÜ’s message.
However, contrary to the weekend promise, Booking.com has still not transferred the amount of the outstanding debt to all those involved, which means that there are still accommodation providers who are waiting for payment.
