Chennai: In the ‘booster’ vaccination camp held in Tamil Nadu yesterday, 50 thousand, 598 people have benefited.
Across the country, the spread of corona has increased due to the omega-3 type of infection. Therefore, the federal government has approved the ‘booster dose’ for those who have completed 273 days, with two months of vaccination and nine months. Initially, the vaccine is given to health workers, front workers, and those over 60 years of age with co-morbidities.
In Tamil Nadu, the booster dose vaccination camp started on Thursdays, just like the mega vaccination camps held on Saturdays every week. Of these, 50 thousand, 598 were vaccinated with booster dose. In addition, 6,501 people between the ages of 15 and 18, over the age of 18, as many as one lakh, 53 thousand, 514 people, in total, one lakh, 60 thousand 15 people have been vaccinated.
