Borislav Tsekov Takes Helm of Gallup International Balkan
On August 12, 2024, sociologist Borislav Tsekov finalized the acquisition of “Gallup International Balkan,” from previous owners Andrey Raichev and Kancho Stoychev. This announcement was made public on the agency’s website.
The sale of the 100% stake in Gallup International Balkan, a member of the international Gallup International network headquartered in Zurich, was finalized. Founding partners Raichev and Stoychev transferred their ownership to “Paxton Research,” a newly established joint-stock company led by Dr. Tsekov.
“The right to a pension is guaranteed by the Constitution,” stated Raichev and Stoychev. “Therefore, we decided to take advantage of it.” They emphasized their confidence in Tsekov’s ability to guide the agency’s future growth.
Tsekov expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in him and emphasized the unwavering legacy built by Raichev and Stoychev. He promised to uphold this legacy while fostering continuity in the agency’s trajectory.
Furthermore, Tsekov announced plans to restructure the agency, transforming it into a research center with three distinct divisions.
