Borja Sánchez decides matches with the Mexican León. The Aztec team played a momentous match this morning to get into the so-called “play-in” and qualify for the Apertura. Those from Oviedo needed to win against the Juárez of former red-and-white Aitor García and the performance of Borja, ex-rojiblanco, was key, since he scored the tying goal, thus equaling Aitor García’s own goal. The match ended 2-1.

The Asturian caught a ball in the area after a cross and put it in the net and shortly after Federico Viñas made it 2-1. Pachuca, the other “brother of Oviedo” team, finished eleventh and will not be able to repeat the title.
