Bose Company presented a new model of branded wireless headphones with active noise cancellation – the new QuietComfort Ultra has received support for virtual spatial sound. Bose QuietComfort Ultra will go on sale in October. The headphones will cost $429.

The model, which will replace the Bose Noise Canceling Headphones 700 line, received metal elements, Alcantara and faux leather trim. A special feature of the new product is Bose Immersive Audio technology, which provides spatial sound through a special sound processing algorithm, even in ordinary files that do not natively support spatial sound.

There are two operating modes of the system – Still and Motion, which provide optimal sound at rest and while the user is moving. The algorithms are stated to provide a wider and more spacious soundstage, but if you wish, Bose Immersive Audio can be turned off and returned to normal sound. To connect to a sound source, the headphones received a 2.5 mm jack, and for charging, a USB-C port.

The headphones have improved microphones and an optimized noise reduction algorithm to improve the quality of voice calls and get rid of noise while listening to music. To control the operating modes of the headphones, a multifunctional mechanical button is provided, and the physical volume control is replaced by a touch strip. QuietComfort Ultra provides up to 24 hours of playback when Bose Immersive Audio is turned off (up to 18 hours when turned on).
