Eran Zehavi (Radad Jabara)
Eran Zehavi’s name has been running strong in the Brazilian media recently, after PSV striker Eindhoven ties the move to Botafogo at the end of the season. In the media from the land of the samba, they marked the American MLS league as a problematic competitor to Botafogo and also to the Palmeiras who expressed interest in the Israeli.
According to a report in Brazil, Zehavi demands a salary of 1.9 million reals (1.2 million NIS) per month, which Botafogo estimates to be high. Despite this, the Brazilian team believes that they can convince the Israeli to come, but at the same time revealed that the club believes that they will not be able to compete with the numbers that will be offered to an Israeli in MLS.
The renewal of the player’s contract at Eindhoven seems in any case to be something that is outright denied at the moment. The 34-year-old striker is in excellent shape and has found the net in each of his team’s last five games in all competitions, including a 0-4 double over Copenhagen in the eighth round of the Conference League final. He has 33 goals in 70 games at PSV.
