Botafogo-PB beats Aparecidense in a seven-goal match and takes the lead in Serie C

The 11th round of it Serie C of the Brazilian Championship it ended last Wednesday. Botafogo-PB beat Aparecidense, 4-3, at Almeidão, in João Pessoa. Pipico (2x), Jô and Evandro scored the goals for the Paraíba team, while Rubens, Matheus Chaves and Igor Torres scored for the visitors.

As a result, Botafogo-PB took the lead in the national Third Division, achieving 24 points and one game less than Volta Redonda, in second place. Aparecidense remained in 15th place, with 10 points and close to the relegation zone.

Now, both teams return to the field for the 12th round of Serie C. Botafogo-PB visits São Bernardo this Monday, at 8pm (Brazilian time), at Estádio 1º de Maio. Aparecidense will host Londrina this Saturday, starting at 7:30 pm, at the Annibal Batista de Toledo Stadium.

The CSA meets Figueirense and leaves Z4

Also this Wednesday, the CSA beat Figueirense, 3-1, in round 11 of the Third Division, at the Rei Pelé Stadium Richard, Vitor Leque and Lucas Alexandre scored for the home team, and Jefinho scored for the visitors.

The result left CSA Z4 in League C. The team jumped to 14th place, gaining 11 points. On the other hand, Figueirense remained in seventh place, with the same 17 points as at the beginning of the round.

CSA returns to the field this Saturday, when they face ABC in the 12th round of the competition. The ball rolls at 7:30pm, at the Maria Lamas Farache Stadium. On the other hand, Figueirense hosts Athletic this Sunday, starting at 4:30 pm, at Orlando Scarpelli.
