Eran Zehavi’s future next season is still unclear, but South America continues to claim that the Israeli star is approaching the Brazilian Botafogo. This morning (Saturday) it was reported in Brazil that the team Mario de Janeiro has raised its financial offer to the striker and that there is great optimism there regarding his signing.
Botafogo submitted its first offer to Zahavi at the end of March, but the Israeli’s representatives asked for a higher salary. According to the report, last week the Brazilian club returned with an upgraded financial offer to the striker, and the sums offered this time are close to the demands of Zehavi, who will announce his future only after finishing the season in the Dutch league with PSV.
According to the report, Zehavi loves the project built in Botafogo and the only issue that leaves gaps between the parties is the financial aspect. The Brazilians offered Zahavi a contract until the end of 2023 with an option to extend, in accordance with the striker’s wishes and to meet the goals set in the contract. Botafogo of course will not have to pay a transfer fee, as Zehavi’s contract expires at the end of the season, allowing her to submit a generous financial offer to the player.
