Bottas wins Formula 1 Brazilian Grand Prix sprint

Finnish Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas won the Formula 1 Brazilian Grand Prix sprint race. Overall leader Max Verstappen from Red Bull finished second, while his main rival from Mercedes Lewis Hamilton came in fifth.

Verstappen was 1.170 seconds behind the leader. Third came Carlos Sainz Jr. (Ferrari, +18.723). Hamilton started last with a qualifying violation and was 20.872 seconds behind the leader. Russian Nikita Mazepin (Haas) took the last 20 place.

Max Verstappen continues to lead the overall standings. He scored 312.5 points. The second is Lewis Hamilton (293.5).
