Bangalore: A bottle was thrown at singer Kailash Kher who sang only Hindi songs at a concert in Hampi, Karnataka.

A 3-day ‘Hambi Utsav’ program was organized by the state government to honor the heritage of the Vijayanagara empire at Hampi in Bellary district of Karnataka. On Sunday night, the final day of the program, a concert was held with the participation of famous singer Kailash Kher.

Singer Kailash Kher sang only Hindi songs while singing on the show. Enraged fans shouted for Kannada songs. Despite this, Kailash Kher continued to sing Hindi songs. Then a mysterious person from the crowd threw a water bottle at him. But Kailash Kher continued singing without stopping.

After this, the Hampi police came to the stage and removed the water bottle and warned that strict action will be taken against those who disrupt the program. The police registered a case and arrested two members of the Kannada Rakshana Vedike, Pradeep (22) and Surender (21). During the investigation conducted by the police, it is reported that both of them confessed that they threw the bottle because they did not sing the Kannada song.
