In Marseille, gunshots were reported to the police around 2:40 a.m. in the La Marine Bleue city, in the north of Marseille, said one of the police sources. The victim died after law enforcement arrived, the source said. The emergency services pronounced the death on their arrival around three o’clock in the morning.
Two men fled on a scooter. The judicial police were seized and the victim was known to the police for narcotics cases. In the same arrondissement of Marseille, a 22-year-old man was shot dead in the Mediterranean HLM city on Friday evening and a man and a woman in their twenties were injured by firearms on Saturday evening. The vital prognosis of the man is engaged.
In Arles, three men on the run
A hundred kilometers from Marseille, a man in his thirties was shot this Sunday morning in Arles, around 11 a.m. Injured, his days are however not in danger according to information reported by BFM. In this case also, the suspects are on the run and would be three in number. They would have left the scene by car.
Questioned this Monday on Franceinfo, Frédérique Camilleri, police chief of Bouches-du-Rhône, insisted on the fact that the fight against drug trafficking was continuing in the department, with the definitive dismantling of “39 points of deal” since the beginning of the year and a 70% increase in the number of weapons seized by its services.
