Erode: DMK and AIADMK have given token to the voters of Erode East constituency at every house. As gold coins and nosepieces have been given in certain places, the expectations among the voters have increased.
The Erode East Constituency by-election will be held tomorrow (27th). To attract voters, DMK and AIADMK are giving money and various gifts to voters. According to the number of votes in each house, DMK has given Rs.3000 per vote. Apart from this, various gifts including cooker, smart watch, silver tumbler, hot box, home appliances, dhoti, saree have been given.
On behalf of AIADMK, Rs.2,000 has been given for one vote. Apart from that, gifts like lamp, silver tumbler, pants, shirt have also been given. On the 2nd day yesterday, the distribution of gifts including silk, silver lamp, silver plate continued.
In this case, a ‘token’ has been given to the houses with more than two votes on behalf of DMK and AIADMK. Both sides have assured that a special prize will be given for this.
In this case, one gram gold coin has been given to the houses in Kacheri Road area. Similarly, golden nose is provided in Annai Satya Nagar, Brahmin Periya Agraharam areas. When DMK officials involved in the election process were asked about this, they said, ‘Erodu East Constituency voters were expected to be given Rs.5,000 per vote. But only Rs.3,000 was given.
