Bowers & Wilkins has unveiled a new version of its flagship 800 Series Diamond speakers with seven speaker models in the D4 family. The updated lineup includes five stereo speaker models and a pair of three-channel center channel speakers. The cost of acoustics, depending on the version, will be from $ 5.5 thousand to $ 35 thousand. The new items will be on sale from September 1, 2021.
According to the manufacturer, the acoustics received “hundreds of changes” to increase the rigidity of the structure and reduce the amount of unwanted vibrations. Expanded use of aluminum elements, new technology to isolate the speakers from each other and their suspension inside the cabinet have improved the quality of midrange reproduction.
