Rajasthan Royals, the defending champions of the IPL cricket final, and the Gujarat Titans, the inaugural team, are battling it out for the trophy this time around. Butler and captain Sanju Samson formed an alliance and played well, with Jaiswal out of the Rajasthan team batting first. Then in the 9th over, captain Hardik Pandya came to bowl.
Captain Sanju Samson took the wicket in the 2nd ball of the first over. Hardik conceded just one run in the first over. Though he did not take a wicket in the 2nd over, Rajasthan managed to score only 4 runs. In the next over he bowled the first ball to Rajasthan was waiting for the shock.
Butler’s wicket was taken by Hardik Pandya. It was a moment when the total confidence of the Rajasthan batting order was shattered. He gave up only 3 runs in that 3rd over. In the 4th over, Hardik struck 2 fours in the last ball of the over, knocking down Velasquez Hetmeyer. Hardik was unbeaten on 3 big heads, giving up just 17 runs in total.
