The same has happened with ‘Bad News’, but the good thing is that the film has shown its good hold even in the first Monday test. On the other hand, the condition of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sarfira’ at the box office has become even worse. On its second Monday, this film could not even earn Rs 30 lakh. Directed by Anand Tiwari, ‘Bad News’ is not only a romantic comedy, it also talks about a rare pregnancy like heteropaternal superfecundation. The film had a net collection of Rs 8.30 crore on the opening day. While on the third day of the weekend, i.e. Sunday, it earned Rs 11.15 crore. This earning is better than the same genre’s ‘Crew’ and ‘Teri Baatein Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya’. While on Monday, it lagged behind ‘Crew’ a bit.
‘Bad News’ has earned Rs 3.50 crore on the fourth day
According to the report of sacnilk, ‘Bad News’ has made a net collection of Rs 3.50 crore on Monday. Thus, the total earnings of the film in four days have become Rs 33.20 crore in the country. On the fourth day of release, the number of viewers in the theaters has also been decent. On an average, 14% of the seats in the film’s shows were occupied by the audience, which can be said to be good in terms of the range of the film and the first Monday. However, here it has lagged behind Kareena Kapoor, Tabu and Kriti Sanon’s ‘Crew’, which did a business of Rs 4.20 crore on the first Monday.
Akshay’s ‘Sarfira’ earned only 25 lakh rupees on the 11th day
On the other hand, the condition of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Sarfira’, directed by Sudha Kongara, has become even worse. This film somehow managed to earn Rs 1.20 crore in the weekend. But on its second Monday, it could earn only Rs 25 lakh. With the release of ‘Bad News’ in theatres, the business of ‘Sarfira’ has been affected since Friday. Now the total collection of the film in 11 days is Rs 21.45 crore in the country.
‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ coming on Friday
The budget of ‘Sarfira’ is Rs 100 crore and this is its biggest concern. Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan’s work in the film is being praised a lot. But this has proved to be another disaster film of Akshay Kumar. Two days later, on Friday, Hollywood film ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’ is releasing. Indian audiences are also eagerly waiting for this film of Marvel Studios. In such a situation, it will also affect the earnings of ‘Sarfira’ and ‘Bad News’.
